Wasteline Springs into Action

The spring 2010 edition of Wasteline, the arc21 magazine, is now available to download.

It includes useful advice on home composting and provides advice top tips on how to transform some of your kitchen and garden waste into soil-enhancing compost.

The magazine also includes the Northern Ireland Environment Minister’s thoughts on waste management following his visit to Copenhagen for the UN Climate Change conference, as well as a look at how over one million tonnes of barely worn clothes are ending up in landfill sites across the UK.

Plus, just as the better weather returns, we review how well councils and residents coped with the winter freeze and what that meant for waste collection throughout the arc21 region.
