There was only one tender cancelled in 2016/17. The tender for the Loading, Haulage and Transfer of Residual Municipal, Co-Mingled Dry Recyclable and Organic Wastes was terminated as arc21 determined that its future needs and requirements would be better met through a new competition. Accordingly, on the basis of updated requirements, arc21 undertook another competition and awarded a new contract in April 2017.
There has currently only been one tender cancelled in 2017/18. The tender for Wheeled Refuse Collection Containers, Home Compost Units, Kitchen Caddies, Kerbside Boxes, Kitchen Caddy Liners, Bottle Banks and Other Supplies (CfT No: 918188) and the supply and delivery of items contained within Lots 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14 and 15 was terminated. This is because arc21 determined that its future needs and requirements in relation to the supplies in these Lots would be better met through a new competition on the basis of updated requirements. arc21 intends to commence a new procurement exercise in relation to these supplies in the near future.”
In 2022, the award of a tender for the Provision of Services to Facilitate Recruitment of a Chief Executive, to Undertake an Organisational Review and Review of Governance (CfT No: 4151135) was not progressed.
